Donations to the Charlottesville Democratic Party's general fund help make possible the following scholarships and awards:

The Charlottesville Democratic Party provides campaign funding for local candidates running for City Council and Constitutional offices (Treasurer, Sheriff, Commonwealth Attorney, Clerk of Courts). The Party provides the funding for scholarships to help outstanding local high school students with college costs, and awards to individuals for extraordinary community service (see sidebar). The Party also works to engage and inform local Democrats, reach out to new voters and provide a base of operations for regional, state-wide and national candidates.
